Gambling.com Group Plc, a provider of digital marketing services for the online gambling industry, has completed the needed application procedure and received approval from the Indiana Gaming Commission.
It enables them to provide services to licensed gaming operators in the state through their US subsidiary KAX Media America Inc.
Significant Opportunity for Online Gaming Sites
In the press release published on the Gambling.com official website, they state that Indiana is home to a range of professional and college sports teams. It is also home to Indianapolis 500, the world’s oldest currently operational automobile race, and millions of enthusiastic sports fans. As such, the US state provides an excellent opportunity for the Group to offer marketing services to licensed operators. It will help them take their American operation to the next level.
“Indiana got it right by offering mobile sports betting and the state represents a significant opportunity for sites like Bookies.com to connect sports fans with high-quality sports betting content like top daily picks,” said Charles Gillespie, Chief Executive of Gambling.com Group.
Since neighbouring states have not fully regulated online sports betting yet, Indiana also benefits from Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan and Illinois players travelling to place bets. This further strengthens the opportunity for the Indiana sports betting market to flourish.
Commenting on the approval they have received from the regulator, Max Bichsel, VP US Business at Gambling.com Group, said that Indiana was a promising market given the state’s affinity for both professional and collegiate sports.
“We expect competition to thrive, given the regulatory environment which allows dozens of operators to conduct business,” added Bichsel.
