Yggdrasil has added another heavy hitter to its partner program, officially bringing KingMidas Games into the YGG Masters fold. The alliance gives the studio a direct line to Yggdrasil’s technical engine and operator distribution network as it sets out to broaden its reach.
KingMidas Games steps onto the platform with some serious wind in its sails. They’re bringing a massive library of 150 or so games and a solid reputation built on high-profile collaborations with major Japanese IP holders. Joining YGG Masters lets them take those recognizable characters (like Todirama), rich worlds, and distinct mechanics and drop them directly in front of a much bigger audience.
The Prize? Game in a Box
KingMidas is in it for the scale. Teaming up with Yggdrasil opens the doors to more than 2,000 online casino brands globally, which is a massive jump in reach for any studio looking to get their stuff out there.
The tech side of the deal is equally important. KingMidas gets to build on top of Yggdrasil’s Game in a Box developer tool, which gives them a lot more room to experiment. They can tweak math models, adjust server-side logic, and change up mechanics mid-development without hitting the usual roadblocks.

This is perfectly echoed in the statement released by Sargis Khachatryan, Global Commercial Director at KingMidas Games, who said that “we believe the future of gaming lies not just in how games are played, but in how they make players feel… Yggdrasil is a natural strategic partner for us, combining world-class technology, an extensive global network, and, most importantly, a shared commitment to innovation.”
Truer words were rarely said.
About the YGG Masters Program
This move fits right into what YGG Masters has been doing for a while now, giving independent studios access to a massive backend infrastructure without forcing them to hand over their creative control or – worse yet – give up their original IP. And IPs, as we’ll see down below, are one of KingMidas’ greatest assets.
Getting games live across multiple regulated markets usually means dealing with endless paperwork and technical hurdles. That’s all gone by using Yggdrasil’s existing framework. The KingMidas creatives can focus strictly on game design and player experience, leaving YGG to handle the integration work, compliance, and distribution.
Zoe Bird, Head of YGG Masters, had this to say about the new addition: “We’re so excited to welcome KingMidas Games to the YGG Masters family! Their distinctive gameplay and Japanese IP collaborations bring something genuinely fresh to the program, and we can’t wait to see what they can create with our new Game in a Box™ technology.”
KingMidas Output
It wouldn’t be an understatement to call KingMidas one of the most versatile studios operating today. After all, it offers a range of 50+ slots, dozens of dice and card-based games, and around 20 arcade-style instant win games.
But where KingMidas is particularly strong is in the original IP arena. The studio made it a mission to secure licensed Japanese brands and build original games around established characters. You can see this in their partnership with G-Mode to bring the classic Japanese arcade series Toridama into the real-money space with titles like Todirama: RPS, Todirama: Crash, and Todirama: Tap Smash.
