The popularity of baccarat has led many online casino software developers to create their own version of this game. Evolution sure knows how to do it and has so far launched several baccarat variants such as Golden Wealth Baccarat. One of those variants is Bac Bo Live, which stands out among other similar releases as it uses dice instead of cards.
The game’s design and aesthetic resemble Sic Bo, another popular Evolution’s game. It’s played on a wide and clean table, although the action only takes place at the centre where dice and shakers are situated.
Learning to play Bac Bo Live won’t be difficult, as the game features just three main bets: Player, Banker, and Tie.
How to Play Bac Bo Live
The first thing you need to do at the start of the round is to place your bet. You can do this by choosing a coin value from the options given at the bottom of the screen. Then you place the desired amount on the tiles you want. As we already mentioned, you have three options. You can bet on the player or the banker or that the result of the round is a tie. Keep in mind you have to finish placing your bet before the time runs out, or it won’t be played at all.
Once all the bets are placed, it’s time for the round to start. Shakers will begin shaking the dice in the process that follows a pattern. Your first dice is the first to stop, and then the banker’s. The point total determines whose dice will be the next to stop.
After both the player’s and the banker’s dice are displayed, it’s time to check the results of the round. The winner is the side with the highest total. However, if both the player and the banker have the same total, the round will end in a tie. A corresponding payout is awarded, it’s time to start the next round.
Additional Features
Bac Bo Live comes with no side bets, although that doesn’t mean you won’t be able to use features available in other Evolution releases. You will be able to use roads to keep track of your results. Using bead roads, derived roads, or the big road, you can even identify hot and cold patterns and take advantage of them during the game.
The game statistics are located above the big road and can also be very helpful. The page keeps track of the previous fifty rounds, showing how often a bet won. You can also see how much money was wagered on each bet, as well as the percentage of players betting on any of the available options.
Payouts
Payouts are as equally simple as Bac Bo’s gameplay. Both the player and the banker bet come with the same reward. Predicting the winning side awards a payout of 1 to 1. However, ties are a bit complicated, as the numbers causing it determine the payout’s size. Essentially, the lower the odds of a tie combination, the bigger the cash prize is.
- Six, seven, and eight ties award a payout of 4 to 1
- Five and nine ties pay 6 to 1
- Four and tens result in a prize of 10 to 1
- Three and eleven pay 25 to 1
- Two and twelve award a prize of 88 to 1
