For all the conveniences bank transfers offer, they have always been held back by their slow transaction speeds. The lack of instant deposits means they are rarely used for adding funds, while withdrawals take multiple days. DuitNow seeks to solve this issue by making instant bank transfers possible. What is DuitNow?

DuitNow is one of several digital payment services provided by PayNet, Malaysia’s national transaction network. The service relies on the country’s banks, with plenty of participating institutions. That means if you’re interested in using DuitNow, it is almost certainly supported by your bank. The payment method’s success resulted in its widespread adoption, including for online casino transactions.

The payment method is primarily present in Malaysia but also caters to clients in Indonesia, Thailand, and Singapore.

FAQ

DuitNow has no account requirement if you only want to deposit. That said, you’ll need an account to be able to withdraw using the payment method.

The service is accessible to users from Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia.

DuitNow has no fees so long as your transactions don’t exceed RM 5,000.

Transfer Times and Fees

One of the greatest upsides to DuitNow is instant deposits for bank transfers. This is in stark contrast to most wire transfer deposits, which require multiple days to be processed. Withdrawals are also quick, though this is primarily affected by your casino’s payout policy.

Online casinos will not charge you extra for depositing and withdrawing money using DuitNow. However, the payment method has a transaction fee you must keep in mind. If your deposit or withdrawal does not exceed RM 5,000, you do not have to pay extra. However, for sums exceeding RM 5,000, you will need to pay a 50 cent fee.

Security

DuitNow uses band-grade, cutting-edge security measures to protect its users. It’s also run by the Malaysian Central Bank, ensuring everything is above board.
