Relax Gaming Halloween Release: Ramses’ Revenge

Halloween is always the perfect time for developers of online casino software to add spooky releases to their respective portfolios.

This year was no exception, with many gambling companies launching their new titles. Relax Gaming was among them, treating their players to an exciting Egyptian-themed game titled Ramses’ Revenge.

The renowned developer used a theme often explored by their market rivals. Still, they managed to give it a personal touch, creating not only an exciting but also a distinctive release that punters will surely love. So let’s see what makes this slot so unique.

Ramses’ Revenge basics

Boasting high volatility and offering players the chance to scoop neat payouts, Ramses’ Revenge is played on a six-reel four-reel grid, with 4,096 different ways to win. The game has a relatively high win potential, with the maximum prize worth 50,000 times the bet.

Ramses’ Revenge is considered to be a highly volatile release, with an average RTP set at 96.15%. The latest addition to Relax Gaming portfolio of slots comes packed with exciting and potentially very rewarding features, such as multipliers, the Mystery Sandstorm, and the Free Spins bonus round.

When it comes to wagering options, punters can place any bet ranging from as low as $0.10 up to $20 per spin. Players are advised to be careful when choosing the size of their stake, as they can quickly lose all of their money.

As we’ve mentioned, Ramses’ Revenge uses an Egyptian-theme, which is why the reels are populated with images of Horus, Anubis, Sobek and of course, Ramses himself. The low-paying icons are portrayed by the Lotus, Eye of Ra, an Eagle and Ankh. The theme is far from being unique, but we must commend the game’s well-executed cartoonish graphics.

Ramses’ Revenge Features

The Main Game is not so exciting, although it can award payouts through random Mystery Sandstorms, which can see up to four symbols appear on the grid to deliver between two and six waves. The feature can fill all positions with matching symbols, resulting in staggering prizes.

Unfortunately, since that won’t happen often, you’ll have to rely on the Free Spins round to make the most out of the slot’s win potential. So, essentially it’s all about the bonus round.

As up to four Explorer symbols can be found on the grid at the same time, you can also get more Mummy Wilds to help in removing them off the screen. Form a winning combination using more than one Mummy Wild symbol to combine all multipliers and significantly increase the size of your winnings. For example, if you connect 2x and 3x multipliers, your win will be multiplied by six times.

The slot’s bonus round is triggered using Explorer symbols, which in exchange will award six spins. While the Free Spins feature is active, Mummy Wilds will be added to the reels as the replacement for Explorer symbols. Apart from substituting for the said symbols, these Wilds will also increase the multiplier by 1x.
