Most game shows stick to lucky wheels as a baseline. However, Dice City steps away from that in favour of two big dice, which control which position on the 6×6 board you get. It’s an interesting setup that immediately caught our attention. The longer we played, the more we fell in love with it. That is why we decided to bring it to you in this review.
Join us for a thorough look into this Pragmatic Play release. We explore its graphics, gameplay, and more to help you decide if this is a title you want to play.
Dice City Visuals
Your focus will be on the colourful playing grid. Each paying area and feature trigger has a different colour and logo, which adds to the visual variety. Behind the grid, you can see a city skyline, with green buildings contrasting the yellow-pink sky. The visuals change as you activate various features, making the game even more appealing.
Dice City Gameplay & Features
Dice City uses a 6×6 grid, with each position corresponding to the potential outcome of a dice roll. Players can bet on any of the six possible betting spots, after which the two dice are rolled to determine the winning field.
Landing on a numbered winning field grants a matching cash prize. Ones will pay 1x, twos are worth 2x, and fives grant a 5x reward. Meanwhile, stopping on one of the three bonus game tiles activates the corresponding feature.
Pragmatic Play made it so every spin has a chance to trigger a random booster. It will apply a multiplier to one of the bet spots, increasing payouts by up to 10x.

The first official feature you can trigger is Dice Battle. Two prizes are revealed to the player, each attached to a separate die. The two dice are then rolled, with the higher result getting the best reward of up to 1,000x. If you choose the die with the lower result, you still win, but the prize is lower than the one from the other die.
Lucky Drop is played on a five-level prize ladder with two dice. You choose one of six possible results, betting that it will be the most frequently rolled combination of the lot. Each time the dice results match your choice, you move up the corresponding ladder. If you reach the top, you can claim a 5,000x reward.
The Boom or Bust bonus is played on a 6×7 board. You start by picking the red or blue die, whose results determine your progress across the playing area. As you move, you’ll be able to get multipliers and Level Up symbols, bringing you one step closer to this feature’s maximum win of 10,000x your stake.
Dice City RTP and Payouts
Each Dice City bet has a similar RTP, allowing you to play whichever one you like without worrying if it’s optimal. Four out of six bets feature a 96.56% return to player, while Dice Battle and Lucky Drop offer 96.55% and 96.57%, respectively.
While RTPs are similar, the payouts are anything but. Bonus features are rare, but balance it out with better rewards. Meanwhile, paying symbols are frequent, which is why you get smaller prizes when you win with them.
