€17.5 Million Won on Microgaming’s Book of Atem: WowPot!

Microgaming has marked the first-ever massive win on its WowPot Progressive jackpot network. On the 14th of April, 2021, Wednesday, a UK player at 32Red Casino has hit a €17.5 million (£15,183,085.96) prize playing Book of Atem: WowPot. With that, the player is recorded as one of the 93 millionaires created on the developer’s progressive jackpot network, which has so far delivered more than €1.3 billion across all of the jackpots and games to date.

This is the largest WowPot win of all times, following the one in March 2021, when a player hit €1,123,513.15 playing Sisters of Oz: WowPot. However, it is also the third-largest win registered in the history of Microgaming’s progressive jackpot networks! The prize has already been paid out to the lucky winner in a lump sum!

The Egyptian-themed Book of Atem: WowPot was launched not so long ago, in September 2020, and was created by All41Studios exclusively for Microgaming. This was the second title to feature the WowPot progressive jackpot, which offers four tiers of rewards. Ever since it was launched, the game has awarded a total of €23 million, across all jackpot tiers, with the latest reward delivered in March 2021, when a player scooped the Major jackpot of €998,876.35.

A 32Red player won the first massive WowPot prize playing Book of Atem: WowPot.

When it comes to the WowPot progressive jackpot network, it was first launched with the release of Wheel of Whishes, the last February release by Alchemy Gaming, with a top prize pool seeding at €2 million. The jackpot, however, is at the moment featured in six different games from Microgaming’s exclusive independent studios, including the newest Neon Valley Studios’ Queen of Alexandria: WowPot and the popular JustForTheWin’s Sherlock & Moriarty: WowPot.

Statements by Microgaming and 32Red

Microgaming’s CEO John Coleman said that the win was phenomenal, their third-largest ever and the first massive on WowPot! Coleman congratulated the winning player, 32Red and Kindred Group, who have been such amazing partners of the developer over the years. Finally, he said his thank you to All41 Studios for creating Book of Atem: WowPot, as well as Alchemy Gaming which played an essential role in the creation of the WowPot jackpot network.

Kindred Group’s Neil Banbury said that they were so happy for their player, congratulating them on the incredible win. Banbury congratulated Microgaming, too, for creating the online gambling industry’s leading progressive jackpot games portfolio. WowPot came with a series of excellent games, standing next to Mega Moolah as one of the most popularly played series at the casino, finally said Banbury.
