Break the Ice in Ice Fishing Live by Evolution

Few things draw a crowd like a new Evolution game show. As such, we were delighted when the team announced a new release. Ice Fishing Live is a familiar sight, using a lucky wheel to draw winning colours and bonus rounds. However, that doesn’t make this upcoming live game show any less exciting.

We’ve had the pleasure of being able to preview the game recently, and we’ll be giving you our first impressions. However, keep in mind that Ice Fishing Live is still being developed, meaning we don’t have a full picture yet. Once the game is closer to release, we’ll have a more detailed review for you.

How Ice Fishing Live Works

Evolution’s release uses a 53-segment money wheel. The wheel is split into white and blue leaf segments, and landing on them awards instant cash prizes. Each spin can also benefit from random multipliers up to 10x, boosting your rewards.

The colour segments are broken up by three bonus rounds: Lil Blues, Big Oranges, and Huge Reds. All three bonuses require you to drop a reel beneath the ice, waiting to see what kind of fish comes up. Each one has an attached multiplier, allowing you to win more than in the base game. Additionally, all three have guaranteed wins if you trigger them, which is a big plus.

With Ice Fishing Live still being a work in progress, we weren’t able to see all the bonus features. However, we think all three will function the same way. The only difference is that you can get bigger rewards from specific features. Huge Reds will pay best, followed by Big Oranges, and finally, Lil Blues will be the least valuable of the three.

Ice Fishing Live RTP and Payouts

Unfortunately, we cannot give you a detailed look into the paytable of this release. Evolution is still hard at work making the game, so we don’t have final payout values for each bet. However, we know the studio targets a theoretical RTP of 97.44% if playing optimally.
