The debate of cats versus dogs has lasted for as long as humans domesticated the animals. Relax Gaming has taken a clear side on this eternal war with their latest title: Purrrminator. In it, you follow a genius cat inventor piloting a dog-shaped mech suit as he tries to catch the many dogs that have chased him over the years.

Purrrminator Visuals & Sounds

Relax Gaming’s art team has outdone themselves with this title. The backdrop is fantastic, showing the alleyway where the local dog gang has made their hideout. Most of the dogs loom over the cat with menacing grins while one is happily napping away, unconcerned by what’s happening. However, they’re all quick to flee when the Reverse Avalanche feature brings out the cages.

The paying symbols are dog treats that look like playing card suits and dog gang members. The game only has one bonus symbol: the red alarm clock.

The background music in this Relax Gaming title is a calm and upbeat track that incorporates the sounds of the city. You’ll hear dogs barking and blaring police sirens, which helps immerse you into the experience. When cages drop on the reels, they land with a satisfying metal thud.

Purrrminator Gameplay & Features

You play the Purrrminator slot on a 6×4 grid with Connected Ways replacing paylines. Winning requires three or more matching symbols in adjacent reels, starting with the leftmost column.

Reverse Avalanche

Whenever a winning combination appears on the reels, the icons that were part of it and Wilds are locked in cages. All other symbols disappear, while the winning icons drop to the bottom of the reels. At this point, only blank spaces and more winning symbols can appear. If the latter happens, they’re also caged and fall to the bottom-most spot that’s not already occupied.

This continues until no more icons appear or the reels are completely filled with symbols. Unfortunately, there’s no extra prize for covering every spot on the grid with icons.

Three or more alarm clock bonus symbols anywhere on the grid will activate the Free Spins feature. The number of Scatters determines the range of free spins you can get.
