Baccarat is a timeless thrill whose rules are carefully designed to make each round feel tense and exciting. Lightning Bac Bo takes that formula and significantly shakes it up. Baccarat rules are applied to a dice game, and then multipliers are added on top of that for an unforgettable experience.
At first glance, this Evolution release holds a lot of promise. Will the game live up to our high expectations, or will it stumble along the way? There’s only one way to find out, and that’s to keep reading.
Lightning Bac Bo Visuals
The developer opted for a stylish, Asian-themed studio for Lightning Bac Bo. The dealers are dressed in crimson dresses, while the gold-black background gives it a high-class feel. This is an Evolution game, so it’s no surprise that the visuals are amazing. High-definition cameras and multiple angles make the gameplay more fun to watch, as it shifts between the host and playing area depending on what’s happening.
Animations are top-notch, as well. The winning side is highlighted with red lines, which we like a lot. The betting board also constantly updates, displaying the number of players who bet on each option and the total amount wagered. Lightning surrounds dice affected by a multiplier, drawing your attention to the fact that a big win might be coming soon.
Lightning Bac Bo Gameplay & Features
Lightning Bac Bo uses four dice shakers for its gameplay – two for the Player and two for the Banker. You can place bets predicting which of the two sides will win the round. However, you also have the option of wagering on a Tie.

After betting ends, the dice shakers stop and reveal their numbers. They’re added together to form the score, with the highest one winning the round. If the two scores end up identical, then the round ends in a Tie.
Multipliers kick in after bets have been placed. The game picks a number between 1 and 6 and applies the multiplier to all dice that show that number. Thanks to that, Player and Banker bets can benefit from two multipliers, while Tie bets can take advantage of four if all the stars align! Multipliers can be anywhere from 2x to 8x.
Lightning Bac Bo RTP and Payouts
The RTP for Player and Banker bets is 98.87%. Meanwhile, the Tie wager’s return to player is significantly lower at 95.52%. How much you win depends on the bet and whether any multipliers were involved. By default, Banker and Player bets pay 1:1 but can be increased to 17:1 with multipliers.
Meanwhile, the payout for Ties depends on the dice total.
- If the dice add up to 2 or 12, you receive a 4:1 reward
- If the dice add up to 3 or 11, you get a 3:1 payout
- If dice add up to any other total, you’re awarded a 2:1 cash prize.
Tie bets can also be affected by multipliers, which is how you win the 1,200x top prize.
