Once the slot from Yggdrasil Gaming loads, players will be taken to a mine shaft, where they’ll get down to business and start mining. The surroundings appear a bit claustrophobic, while the crisp visuals and a nice soundtrack create an immersive atmosphere. When it comes to the grid layout, expect to see a standard five-by-three setup. However, instead of traditional paylines, Major Miners have 243 ways to win on every spin.

Winning combinations are created by landing at least three matching symbols on adjacent reels starting from the far left. Speaking of symbols, they are split into two categories. Playing cards are the lows, paying from 1x to 1.5x the bet for five-of-a-kind wins. Boots, lanterns, pickaxes, mining cards, and the miner award bigger prizes, with five matching icons paying from 3x to 8x the stake.

Rockfall Modifier

Players may unlock the Rockfall Modifier whenever four to five Bonus symbols appear on the reels. If this happens, players will receive the additional symbols needed to unlock the Bonus round.

Big Blast Bonus

It takes at least six Bonus symbols to activate the Big Blast Bonus. Additionally, players will receive six free spins.

Once the Bonus is triggered, the positions of triggering symbols will be marked with bronze frames. If more Bonus symbols land during the round, they’ll also receive frames. However, if new symbols land on a position with a frame, they will get upgraded from bronze to silver, then to gold and, ultimately, diamond.
