Live Slots: Taking the Gameplay to the Next Level

In the highly competitive online gambling industry, it is not easy to stand out from the crowd. It mainly applies to the production of slot machines that are launched on a daily basis. That’s why developers strive to invent new concepts that will make their products fresh and more attractive to the players.

While some developers have decided to add appealing jackpots to their most popular releases, Playtech has opted for another approach. In December 2019, they launched the updated version of their popular titles Buffalo Blitz taking the gameplay to the next level. It is the first Live Slots on the market, so stay with us to learn more about the new concept and how to play Buffalo Blitz Live.

Live Slots Concept Explained

Slot machines are RNG-operated games where the machine does all the work. Now, we have Live Slots, a slot machine with a live casino twist. What does it practically mean? With their new concept, Playtech offers the popular slot game in the live studio. It is hosted by a real-life presenter who comments on the action taking place on the screen and makes the overall atmosphere more enjoyable.

By giving the Buffalo Blitz slot the live casino treatment, they haven’t changed its essence. It remains a luck-based casino game where the RNG determines the outcome of rounds. However, thanks to the lively presenter and the live chat feature included, playing this version of the game is no more solitary activity.

How to Play Live Slots?

First, you should know that the basics of the game in question remain the same. As for Buffalo Blitz, it is a slot machine using a 6×4 layout and offering 4,096 ways to win. Taking you to a prairie, the slot is home to different animals including the buffalo which pays the top prize. This is a high volatility slot game that offers players a chance to win big, especially during free spins where Wild can boost your wins up to 5x.

Although the live version of the game does not differ from the original title in terms of the gameplay, there are still a few differences you should take into account. Once you load Buffalo Blitz Live, you will see the game broadcast on a big screen behind the presenter. To start playing it, you need to select how many spins you would like to play, set your stake and choose the loss and win limits. So, practically, you play this version of the game in the Autoplay mode. Another option is to ask the host to spin the reels manually.

Why Play Live Slots?

Live Slots is a new concept in the online gambling industry that adds a social element to a slot machine. If you like games of chance where you don’t have to learn complex rules and strategies, Buffalo Blitz may be a perfect fit for you. When playing live dealer games, you have to be focused on the gameplay and don’t let the interaction with other players distract you from it. On the other hand, at Live Slots, you can enjoy the game while chatting with others.

It comes as no surprise that Playtech decided to launch Buffalo Blitz as a Live Slots game knowing that it is one of their most popular titles. Time will tell whether it will live up to expectations and if other slot games from the reputable developers will get the same treatment.
