Reactoonz Keep Growing on the Grid in the New Gigantoonz by Play’n GO

There’s no doubt that Reactoonz is one of the greatest grid slots ever developed. However, the problem with such great games is what to do next? Play’n GO, as one of the leading names in the business, decided not to stop there and opted to hammer out something even better than the original. The result is the latest Reactoonz release from the renowned developer, titled Gigantoonz.

A Proven Recipe with Noticeable Changes

The latest addition to the Play’n GO portfolio uses elements from the last two slots in this series, Reactoonz 2 and Dr. Toons. However, you’re bound to notice some changes. The main one is the new game area, as Gigantoonz takes place on an eight-by-eight grid. The slot resembles the second title in terms of graphics, although the overall appearance is tidier and less cluttered. A cluster tracking meter is located next to the reels, the Quantumeter sits on the right, and all you have to do is hit the Spin button.

Reactoonz delivers a highly volatile experience, which we can expect from Gigantoonz as well. As a result, the RTP is a bit lower, standing at 96.25%, with wagering starting at $0.20 and going up to $100 per spin.

The adorable Toonz characters will be populating the reels. One-eyed characters pay up to 20x the bet for clusters of 30+ symbols, while two-eyed high-paying ones award prizes reaching 1,250x your stake. At least six symbols are needed to create a winning cluster. The Cascading Wins mechanic then removes winning clusters from the grid to make room for new ones. The process will go on until no more new wins are created.

Gigantoonz Slot Features

Compared to Reactoonz, there are not so many features available. Still, developers made sure that players don’t lack excitement by offering Mega Symbols, Quantum Wilds, and Quantumeter modifiers.

Mega Symbols can appear in various sizes: 2×2, 3×3, 4×4, 5×5, 6×6, and 7×7. A Mega Symbols will only count as a single icon whenever it creates a winning combination. However, the size of the cluster is determined by a random number going up by thirteen. After being removed from the reels, a Mega Symbol will leave a Wild behind. It gets even better if it can’t drop down since all places below get filled with a 1×2 version of the Mega Symbol in question.

Quantum Wilds are your regular Wild Symbols. That means they’ll be substituting for all other icons, helping players form additional combinations and increasing their winnings. On a non-winning spin, anywhere from five to ten Quantum Wilds can be added to the game, randomly placed across the grid.

Every winning symbol will count as one charge on the game’s Quantumeter, while Mega Symbols add their cluster value. There are up to 100 charges on the meter, with each of the four available levels triggering a corresponding modifier.

Here are the first thee ones:

• Disintegration – All instances of four randomly chosen symbols are removed after gathering 25 charges.
• Metamorphosis – All instances of a randomly chosen symbol are turned into a different one after collecting fifty charges. Mega Symbols can be turned as well.
• Radiation – After collecting 75 charges, up to four Mega Symbols and between two and five Quantum Wilds are added in random positions.

Finally, once 100 charges are collected, the Gargantoonz modifier will come into play. It occurs in two steps:

• Step 1 – Mega Symbols turn into mega-sized Gargantoonz. You’ll get at least three such Gargantoonz on the reels, which are not removed with wins. In addition to that, up to four 1×1 Gargantoonz will make their appearance.
• Step 2 – Mega Gargantoonz will break down into smaller Gargantoonz, which can be removed from the grid.
