Snakes and Ladders Live, a dynamic live game show created by Pragmatic Play, has received an extensive makeover. Almost every part of the game has changed, and the result is more than appealing. The most significant change is the big wheel in the role of the game mechanic instead of the dice roll.
This revamp has made Snakes & Ladders Live an even better game, with a wheel containing instant cash prizes and access to two bonus rounds. The first is the familiar board game, and the second is the Snake Totem, which delivers enormous prizes if you climb high enough. Plenty of exciting winning opportunities grant fantastic payouts.
Climbing ladders is excellent as long as you avoid the snakes, which is the same deal as in the famous board game. If you have a soft spot for your childhood pastime, this Pragmatic Play show is for you. The game is not excessively volatile, and the bonus rounds are frequent enough to keep it interesting. Read the article to learn more about Snakes & Ladders Live and all its perks.
How to Play Snakes & Ladders Live
The wheel has 54 segments, with 45 instant wins and 9 Bonus positions, with numbered segments potentially receiving boosters from 2x to 20x. Moreover, Bonus segments can get 2x to 10x boosters, with one segment type getting a booster in one game. The Snake Totem can have one or two lives, while the board game can have 3 to 5 dice rolls.
Rolling a six on the board game provides an extra roll. The RTP ranges from 96.49% to 96.59%, while the number 1 bets have 96.66%. With boosted multipliers, the maximum win you can expect from this game is 20,570x. Several rolls of six can help you climb the Totem pole or advance the board for excellent multiplier wins.
1. Making the bets
You start the game by placing bets on numbered segments or bonus rounds. Instant cash wins are granted when the wheel stops on the former. The first phase involves placing wagers on the eight potential outcomes, from numbers including 1, 2, 5 and 10 to two variants of two types of bonuses. The next phase involves choosing the boosted segment and assigning the multiplier.
The presenter then spins the wheel, resulting in one of the described rounds or an instant win.
The betting options include the numbers One, Two, Five and Ten, Totem with one and two lives, and Board with three and five rolls. You can use the Autoplay option to set a recurring bet and win and loss limits before you activate the automatic spins. Unless you stop, they will run until you run out of spins or money.
2. Choosing the Multiplier
Two reels spin above the wheel, the first containing all the symbols and the second holding multiplier values. The number values include 2x, 3x, 5x, 10x, 15x and 20x, while the bonus values include only 2x, 3x, 5x and 10x. The reels will stop on one symbol and one multiplier value. The multiplier applies to the symbols on the wheel. If it is for a numbered segment, it is multiplied by the multiplier, which gives a new payout. If it is for a bonus round, it applies to that bonus, boosting initial multipliers.
3. Spinning the Wheel & Result
The presenter spins the wheel, and it has to make two full turns to be valid. If it turns less than two times, it is deemed a No-Spin, and the wagers are refunded. The same goes for the flapper resting between two segments. Players with valid bets get a payout if it is a number, while they will enter a bonus round if the wheel stops there.

Snakes & Ladders Live: Bonus Rounds
The bonus rounds include Snakes & Ladders and Snake Totem. Each has its own set of perks, making the game unforgettable.
Snakes & Ladders
Landing the big wheel flapper on 3 or 5 rolls segments activates the bonus round. The board game bonus round offers more opportunities than the other one to climb as high as possible, gathering as many multipliers as you can. Each time a six is rolled, another roll is added, enabling you to reach the top and collect multipliers in the process.
The board contains 64 segments on an 8×8 grid, with a multiplier value assigned to each position, increasing if the bonus segment had an active booster when won. You will climb up if you land on a ladder, winning the tile value. You will slide down and win the tile’s bottom value if it is a snake. You will continue climbing for as long as your rolls last.
Snake Totem
The Snake Totem round has a column with 66 stacked tiles, either empty or with a multiplier. The wheel stops on a totem with one or two lives, which is important because landing on an empty tile costs you a life. You can land on 1 or 2 empty tiles if you have 1 or 2 lives, respectively.
The dice roll and players climb up the totem, grabbing the tile’s value. The higher they climb, the more empty tiles they must pass. You can reach the top or run out of lives; the multiplier payout is the total of the tiles you have landed on. If a boosting multiplier is on the big wheel when you have won the bonus, all multipliers are boosted by the amount.
Payouts & RTP
The optimal RTP is 96.66%, with slightly different values for various parts of the game. The bonus rounds are relatively frequent, with the Snakes and Ladders round having a maximum payout of 5,300x. Furthermore, the Snake Totem round has a top win of 20,570:1. It is challenging to grab, but the amount will draw many players.
