The main function of an automobile is to get people from A to B, but for some, like the bunch from the new Push Gaming release, they are used to compete in the Mad Race. Welcome to the post-apocalyptic wasteland, the setting of the slot game titled Mad Cars, a thrilling release filled with plenty of winning opportunities.
The world of Mad Cars is a lonely, brutal place, destroyed by an unknown apocalypse. Wrecked vehicles and derelict spaces inhabited by punk petrolheads is where Push Gaming is taking its players, who can look forward to plenty of excitement and stunning awards.
Let’s take some time and see what’s on offer.
Welcome to the Wasteland
The action takes place in beautifully-designed post-apocalyptic surroundings. You’ll first notice a striking grid consisting of five reels and six rows, with fifty paylines delivering wins. Mad Cars is a highly volatile experience, with a default RTP of 96.39%. However, there are other configurations as well, dropping down to 88.49%, depending on the market, so we advise players to check out the payout percentage before hitting the Spin button. Place any bet from $0.10 to $100 per spin to start your engines.
Wins are awarded when at least three symbols of the same kind land on an active payline. The paytable includes traffic cones, steering wheels, spanners, and spiky dice, all serving as low-value symbols and paying up to 5x the stake for five of a kind. Getting four character symbols awards more generous payouts, ranging from 20x to 100x the bet for five across a line. There are no Wilds, but Mad Car makes use of other symbols to make up for their absence.
Slot Features
Mad Cars is packed with features, providing players with more than enough winning opportunities.

Instant Prize Car
Players can benefit from Instant Prize Car symbols, which appear only on the bottom row, with multipliers of up to 100x. These icons remain on the board until they deliver their prize or until another Instant Car symbol crosses the top row.
Boost Reel
Positioned at the top of the grid, the Boost Reel represents a special row displaying Survivor, Multipliers, Gas, Multiplier & Gas Combo, or blank spaces. An Instant Prize Car symbol is used to trigger Boost symbols above it.
- Survivor – an Instant Prize Car receives a life, preventing another symbol from being deactivated after exceeding the reels.
- Multipliers – the Instant Prize Car value is multiplied by 2x to 100x.
- Gas – the Instant Prize Cars moves forward by up to six positions.
- Multiplier & Gas Combo – as its name suggests, it multiplies the Instant Prize Car’s value and moves it.
Mad Bonus
Scatter Car symbols appear at random positions on the bottom row, triggering the Mad Bonus feature whenever they pass the top row. Scatter Car also awards an instant prize worth 10x the stake, though it can’t be multiplied.
Once the feature is activated, players receive seven spins, while five Instant Prize Car symbols get placed on the bottom row. We have to point out that any regulars are removed from the grid. Every time an Instant Prize Car passes the top row, another one will be added to the bottom reel, with an additional spin awarded.
The Boost Reel works in the same manner as in the Main Game, although the Survivor makes no appearance. Some modifiers only appear on the Boost Reel during the Mad Bonus feature:
- Line Up – when applied to an Instant Prize Car icon, it aligns all other symbols of the same type.
- Persistent Payer – provides values to other Instant Prize Car symbols while on the reels. However, it doesn’t give any value to itself.
- Persistent Collector – while present, it accumulates values from all Instant Prize Car symbols that appear on a particular spin and all subsequent spins. Won’t collect its own value.
- Persistent Payer and Collector Combo – provides its value to every other Instant Prize Car icon and collects their prize values. It applies to the current spin as well as all subsequent spins. You won’t see it pay or collect any values of its own.
Finally, following the last free spin, the Mad Race feature can randomly be activated. If that occurs, all Instant Prize Car symbols pass the top row and award their respective prizes.
Bonus Buy
Pressing the star icon opens the Bonus Buy menu, with players having four options to choose from. They can purchase the Mad Bonus for 115.7x the stake or pay 301x the bet for The Payer Bonus, with a guaranteed Persistent Payer modifier from the start. The Collector Bonus ensures a Persistent Collector modifier from the start and costs 456x the triggering wager. Lastly, choosing the Mystery Mad Bonus feature awards one of the previous three options and starts with a Persistent Payer and Collector modifier from the start. It’s the most expensive option, with a price of 624x the bet.
