Marbles aren’t a frequent sight at online casinos. That is why we were pleasantly surprised when Evolution announced a game all about them called Marble Race. The goal is simple – predict the winning marble, and you take home the cash prize.
How will this upcoming live game show stack up with the competition? In this article, we explore what’s on offer in this release. From how it’s played to potential payouts, you’ll find it all in this article.
Marble Race Live Visuals
Evolution designed a unique studio specifically for Marble Race. The room consists of grey tiles with red lights poking through the cracks. In the centre is the race track, with many twists and turns that leave room for marbles to overtake each other on the obstacle course. The host stands in front of the track, commentating on the action as it takes place. The camera also shifts, following the marbles down the track.
The company’s user interface makes it easy to place bets. It’s as simple as selecting a coin and placing it on the marble colour you think will win. However, you also have an option to select a different betting mode. It’s a bit more involved, but you’ll quickly get the hang of it. In the lower right corner, you’ll see the results of previous rounds.
Marble Race Live Gameplay & Features
The gameplay side of Marble Race is remarkably straightforward. At the start of the round, you are given a few seconds to place bets on one of six coloured squares. Each square corresponds to a marble of the same colour. After the betting time ends, the marbles are released. They race down the track, going through twists and obstacles before reaching the end.
If you predict the winning marble, you will receive a cash prize. All six marbles have the same chance of winning, so it all comes down to luck.

You can also opt for a different betting board. Here, you need to predict which two marbles will win and in what order. It’s not enough to just get the colours right. If you bet that green comes first and red second, but the opposite happens, you won’t win the round. Because this bet is more difficult to get right, its potential payout is higher.
Evolution’s release does not have any bonus rounds. It’s all about which marble comes first.
Marble Race Live RTP and Payouts
Marble Race’s RTP changes based on which wager you make. If you stick to only predicting which marble wins first place, then you can expect a return to player of 95.83%. It’s a solid RTP for game shows, though its 4.75:1 payout will not appeal to everyone.
If you like chasing big wins, predicting first and second place is much more appealing due to its 27:1 cash prize. However, this bet has a much lower RTP at 93.33%. As such, we only recommend opting for this wager as a side bet.
