Yggdrasil and Jelly Introduce a Blinged-Out New Slot Called Big Benji Bonanza

We’ve been seeing tons of new slot games pop up recently. While it’s hard to complain about getting new content, many of these games have felt somewhat unoriginal. Most of them are modern slot games, yet they don’t take advantage of the endless creativity that entails. They tend to stick to classic themes we’ve seen time and time again, which can get somewhat stale after a while. Thankfully, Yggdrasil and development studio Jelly have decided to break this monotonous cycle by introducing an exciting new addition to their slot line-up – Big Benji Bonanza!

A Fresh Take

Big Benji Bonanza is a slot that isn’t afraid to experiment. The game is set on Wall Street, but it’s not the one many of us are familiar with. New York’s iconic financial district has been decked out with fun colors, all kinds of graffiti, and more street art than you can imagine. Big Benji Bonanza takes an absurd tone that’s rare in the online gambling industry by combining the usually stuffy feel of corporate America and mixing it with modern rap and hip-hop culture. All of this is accentuated by the game’s hilarious illustrations and accompanying soundtrack you can’t help but bop your head to.

The name of this game is a direct nod to one of the major symbols featured in the game – President Benjamin Franklin on a banknote. Of course, he appears in a pimped-out edition with a golden chain, sunglasses, and a cigar! The theme continues by featuring several other banknotes with prominent US figures in the same style. It’s light-hearted comedy at its peak, and it works on every level!

Exciting Gameplay

If you think the fun in this game doesn’t go beyond the visuals, you’re dead wrong! This 5-reel Yggdrasil title offers players 243 ways to win, thanks to the various Expanding Wilds, Money symbols, and more. Naturally, it’s also packed with features bound to put you in a good mood. These include a Free Spins mode, where players are met with a Bonus Wheel. The Bonus Wheel will designate the special Money symbol active during the round. If you happen to get a retrigger, you’ll be awarded additional Free Spins and get an upgrade to the next high-paying Money symbol.
