Light & Wonder has proudly announced the expansion of its current licensing partnership agreement with Warner Bros.

Under the provisions of this significant deal, the two sides will work together to deliver new worlds of players through the existing Light & Wonder content aggregation platform.

Plenty of New Titles To Come

The first title to be launched is Willy Wonka: World of Wonka. This physical slot has been popular for years, ruling the casino floors. Now, slot enthusiasts will have the chance to enjoy this title online.

According to available information, Light & Wonder and its in-house development team plan to make the most of the Warner Bros. offering. All new releases will be distributed around the world via the OpenGaming platform.

The move is the new step in Light & Wonder’s strategy to cement its market position further and become a premium content creator with an extensive global presence.

From Willy Wonka to the Wizard of Oz

As mentioned, the first new release to go live under the new agreement is Willy Wonka: World of Wonka. The game is based on the acclaimed 1971 movie Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. The original has dominated casino floors across the US and worldwide for decades.

Another popular land-based release will go online as part of the new deal. It is The Wizard of Oz: Road to Emerald City. As with the Wonka series, Light & Wonder plans to launch several Wizard of Oz slots in the next couple of years.
