As the company’s founders Ian Matthews and Hans Winkelmann explain, their goal was to deliver high-quality content to clients, and after playing several of their exciting games, we must concur they’ve succeeded.
Although present on the scene for only a few years, The Games Company has already produced several hit titles and signed partnership deals with major developers and operators from the online gambling industry. This has enabled their games to reach a wider audience while also helping the studio grow.
Games Library
The Games Company is fully focused on online slots. Of course, we’re not talking about your run-of-the-mill slots – this promising developer’s games have truly unique themes and bonuses and features that make them worthy of your time. The collection isn’t that extensive – The Games Company has released less than a dozen slots by far, which doesn’t undermine their quality as developers in any way.
If you haven’t played any of TGC’s exciting slots, look for Witch of the West, Light Racers, Monster Mash, Furious Furry Friends, Hippie Chicks or Cash Cowboy in online casinos. The slots have up to 40 paylines and offer 243 ways to win, with special features such as extra wilds and expanding/colossal symbols.
If we had to pick a favorite, though, we’d go for TGC’s probably most popular game – KGB Bears. It’s a fun take of the 1980s Cold War fiasco featuring bears instead of the well-known suspects. The studio has yet to release other casino games, although they’ve recently produced a new keno game called Lucky 8 Keno for their keno line of games.
Additionally, The Game Company has also created a great Remote Gaming Server (RGS) in partnership with Bede Gaming that delivers the company’s high-quality content to a number of operators.
History and Licenses
The Games Company was launched in 2013 by two former casino game developers who decided to start developing on their own. After creating more than 50 titles in their illustrious career, Winkelmann and Matthews didn’t wait long to launch their own company in the online gambling stratosphere. Their efforts were immediately recognized by major players in the business, with some of their first games released via the now-defunct Odobo platform.
The studio strives to release their games in a regulated marketplace and is licensed by the UK and Alderney Gambling Commissions.
