Discover the Fate of Fortune in New ELK Studios Title

One of the leading names in the modern world of online gambling, ELK Studios, has recently added a new title to its offering. Titled Fate of Fortune, this somewhat mysterious release is an unusual slot that promises lots of excitement and numerous ways to claim fantastic prizes.

As soon as the game starts, you’ll be greeted by an ominous voice saying your fate is sealed. Don’t be afraid, and your bravery may be handsomely rewarded as you discover what lies ahead of you. Let’s see what this slot has to offer.

Game Basics

The first unorthodox thing you’ll notice is the slot’s grid layout. It uses five reels, which are positioned in a 5-3-1-3-5 pattern. Players will need three or more matching symbols to create a win, which means the central position is essential for forming winning combinations. The reels are set against a backdrop of an ancient shrine, while the soundtrack has a strong Celtic feel to it. At specific points, there are heavy metal effects, which perfectly match the theme and further add to the excitement.

When it comes to betting, a wager of just $0.20 is enough to set the reels into motion, while the maximum stake is $100 per spin. Be careful when choosing your bet, as the slot’s highly volatile nature may be remorseless.

Since there’s only one symbol on the middle row, the game pays both left to right and right to left, offering a total of 81 active lines for slot lovers to benefit from. There are six symbols on the grid: three low-paying ones and three magical ladies as premiums. Wilds are there as well, replacing other regular symbols to complete more wins.

Fate of Fortune: Slot Features

The ELK Studios release is packed with exciting and potentially lucrative features. The first one on the list is the Expanding Wild feature. When appearing on reels 2 and 4, Wilds can expand on the outer reels to deliver a win. Mystery symbols can appear on any reel except the middle one. They can turn into matching icons and represent a vital part of the Free Spins round.

A crystal ball is located beneath the reels. Once the Fortune Favour feature is activated, the crystal ball can deliver one of these neat prizes:

• Lady Swap – transforms all high-paying regulars into the chosen lady symbol.
• A random multiplier of up to 50x
• Walking Wild – a Wild symbol landing on the middle reel and latter splitting into two and moving to reels 2 and 4.
• Locked Wild – a Wild lands on the middle reel, awarding a respin. If no winning combination is formed, its multiplier will go up by one until a win is achieved. While a Locked Wild is in position, you can also trigger the Lady Swap or get a random multiplier.

Get three or four Scatters to trigger the game’s Free Spins round, known as the Unlimited Nudge Spins. As its name suggests, there’s no set number of spins. Players receive one or two Mystery Stacks, depending on the number of Scatters they used to unlock the feature.

On each spin, Mystery Stacks will nudge one position down, revealing the same symbols along the way. The feature comes with a multiplier, whose value goes up by one for every subsequent spin. If you manage to trigger the Fortune’s Favour multiplier, the two of them will be multiplied before applied to your win. The round ends once all Mystery Stacks leave the grid.

Last but not least is the X-iter feature, which enables players to buy one of five available features. These features are:

• 100% Win – guarantees a win for five times the bet.
• 100% Fortune’s Favour – for fifty times your bet, you get three times with a Fortune Favour.
• Bonus – get the bonus round with three or four Scatters for 100 times the stake.
• Big Bonus – triggers the bonus rounds with a 5x multiplier. It costs 200 times the bet.
• Super Bonus – The Fortune Favour feature is guaranteed on every spin for 500 times the bet.
