How Do You Play Deal or No Deal Live?
Announced as the world’s first 24/7 game show, Deal or No Deal Live was launched in May 2019. The game was unveiled at ICE 2019 and immediately drew the attention of the market.
This is a multi-layered game that combines live casino action and RNG gameplay. It is hosted by a real-life presenter while the rest of the game is operated by the RNG. Players have to qualify for the main game where they have to guess whether the amount of money in the last of 16 briefcases is higher than the one offered by the Banker.
If you have never watched the TV game show before, Deal or No Deal Live may strike you as a complicated game. That’s why we are here to help you grasp the rules and gameplay. To start playing the game, you have to qualify first. You do it by wagering from €0.10 up to €100 per spin. The maximum payout you can win is 500x the bet and the game’s RTP is 95.42%.
First and foremost, you should be aware of the fact that Deal or No Deal is a luck-based game. There is nothing you can do to improve your odds here. So, let’s have a closer look at the Evolution 2019 release and how to make the most out of playing it.
Gameplay
The game consists of three parts: qualifying for the main game, topping up the briefcases and the main game show.
How to Qualify for the Main Game?
Once you have selected a bet value, start spinning the three-reel bank vault wheel to qualify for the game show. Each time you spin the wheel, you will place a bet. You have to align the gold segments in the Locked section of the wheel to qualify for the main game where you can win a prize.
The game allows you to increase your chances to qualify by purchasing one or two golden rings. On the left-hand side of the spin button, you will be able to select the Easy or Very Easy option. However, keep in mind that going for these options will raise your stake. If you choose Easy, your bet will be tripled while the Very Easy option requires 9x the original amount.
If you don’t manage to qualify within 2 minutes, you will be automatically offered qualification for the next round. Keep in mind that each spin of the wheel requires placing a bet. Also, whenever you spin the wheel, you will see that the amount of money in the briefcase with the biggest prize increases by 75x up to 500x your bet.
During the qualification round, you can select any of the boxes to be the one with the biggest prize. Simply click on one of the amounts listed on either side of the wheel. The higher bet you place, the larger the amount in the briefcases for the main game show.
Top Up Wheel
If you manage to qualify, you will have a chance to top up the amount in any of the briefcases by 5x to 50x. The Top Up wheel will appear on the screen and again, by raising your bet, you will increase the top up values in the wheel. Choose your bet and spin the wheel. You can do it as many times as you want until the time is up.
Main Game Show
After another 2 minutes elapse, you will enter the main game show. Your briefcase will be on the table while the other 15 briefcases are placed in the back of the studio. Each of 16 briefcases contains randomly assigned numbers between 1 and 16. On both sides of the screen, you will see the amounts of money in briefcases with numbers.
The host’s assistant will open briefcases and reveal their numbers and values. Briefcases are opened in phases, and at the end of each phase, the mysterious Banker will make a Deal or No Deal offer. If you opt for Deal, you will win the amount offered by the Banker. No Deal means that you continue to play. If you don’t act within the given amount of time, it will be taken as No Deal.
Opening Briefcases
There are five openings in total if you don’t accept any of the Banker’s previous deals. In the fourth and final opening, there are three randomly distributed briefcases, with the player’s briefcase and another one included. At this point of the game, you can choose from Deal, Switch Briefcases and No Deal.
Going for Deal means that you accept the Banker’s offer and you collect winnings. If you believe that the amount in the other remaining briefcase is bigger than the one in yours, you can go for the Switch Briefcases option. Finally, if you choose No Deal, you will keep the assigned briefcase.
During the last opening, the two last briefcases are opened. You can choose No Deal and win the prize in the briefcase that has been assigned to you. Or, you can go for Switch Briefcases and win the amount in the other briefcase.
Strategies and Tips
As you can see, the game is quite complex. Its appeal comes from the fact that once you qualify for the main game show, the game gets interactive and the outcome of the game depends on your decisions. However, there is nothing you can do to increase your winning odds here. While it provides you with a thrilling gaming experience, Deal or No Deal can be detrimental to your bankroll.
So, you may be wondering whether you should play it or not. We recommend trying it out, but make sure to keep a few tips in mind while playing the Evolution title. First of all, wager wisely. During the qualifying and topping up round, you will invest your hard-earned money in the game. So, you have to pay for every spin before you get to the main game show.
Second, you can never tell what will be in your briefcase. The only thing you will know for sure is the value of the Banker’s offers in each of the openings. That’s why we would like to suggest that you accept any offer that is at least 2x bigger than the amount of money you have wagered during the qualifying and topping up round. As you can see, the whole game is about gambling, so play it responsibly without wagering large amounts of money.
