The live dealer giant is renowned for its innovation and new game versions. And, once more, Evolution didn’t disappoint us. This time, they’ve enhanced Dream Catcher offering a new localized version of this game show – Imperial Quest.

The main reason for releasing Imperial Quest is that games with local hosts and localized settings and tables seem more appealing to players. Game Features & Gameplay

Imperial Quest has the same features and rules as Dream Catcher. As a result, Imperial Quest is played the same way as Dream Catcher. The game has a super-sized money wheel in the center of the studio – the main “star” in this game show. When you start playing, you should guess the field on which the money wheel will stop after the host spins it.

The wheel has 54 fields, but 52 contain numbers and 2 multipliers. The number fields feature the following numbers: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, and 40. Each number has its own unique color and an animal representing the number. You will see monkeys, pandas, tigers, peacocks, and an elephant. The number of sections differs for each number too. For example, there are 23 segments with the number 1 and just one for 40. This directly influences the payouts, as number 1 pays far less than 40.

Besides fields with numbers, the wheel has two multiplier sections, 2x and 7x. The 2x multiplier is represented by a silver dragon, while the most valuable one, 7x, has a gold phoenix. If the wheel stops on one of them, the host spins it again while all the bets remain in place. If the wheel stops on the multiplier once more, it will enlarge the previous one. The process continues until the spin stops on a number.

Finally, the RTP for Imperial Quest ranges from 89.88% up to 95.65%, with 95.65% being the optimal one.

Betting Options

We have mentioned earlier that the money wheel in Imperial Quest has 52 sections with numbers and 2 with multipliers. The numbers scattered across the wheel are 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, and 40. The number of sections for each number is different.

Number 1 has 23 fields, 2 is on 15 segments, and 5 has 7 sections. Number 10 is displayed on 4 fields, 20 on 2, and finally, there is only one field with the number 40.
This is important to know to understand the odds, as number 1 pays the least and 40 the most. The reason is apparent: the chances of the wheel landing on number 1 are much higher than on number 40. Here is the entire list of numbers and payouts:

• Number 1 – pays 1 to 1
• Number 2 – pays 2 to 1
• Number 5 – pays 5 to 1
• Number 10 – pays 10 to 1
• Number 20 – pays 20 to 1
• Number 40 – pays 40 to 1

To help you understand the payouts, here are a few examples. If you wager €1 on number 5 and the wheel stops on number 5, you win €5 (5×1). But, if you bet €5 on number 40 and the wheel stops there, you win 40×5 = €200.

If the wheel stops on a multiplier, the bets stay as they are, and the host re-spins the wheel. Your wager will be multiplied by 2x or 7x, depending on the multiplier. However, if the wheel stops on the multiplier again, the multiplier from the previous round is enlarged again. Multipliers can keep multiplying each other up to the maximum of 20,000x.

Interface

Imperial Quest is Dream Catcher set in a different environment. However, the new look & feel of the studio doesn’t impact the interface in terms of features and functionalities.

The UI elements include the main betting board in the middle of the screen with six values: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, and 40. Each field shows the possible payouts. You can also simultaneously place the chip on all six options if you select the “Bet on all” field below.

To the right of the betting grid, you will find statistics showing the results from the previous rounds. Finally, the game allows you to use the Autospin feature next to the statistics tab. The functionality lets you automatically repeat your bet when you pick a certain number of rounds.
