Sic Bo is a traditional Chinese game of chance played with dice that became popular among many casino players across the globe.

Live dealer providers like Evolution and Playtech are to be “blamed” for the rising popularity of this easy and fun dice game. Therefore, it didn’t take long before another live casino giant jumped on the Sic Bo bandwagon and delivered its own version of the game. Following Evolution’s Super Sic Bo and Playtech’s Sic Bo Deluxe, Pragmatic Play released Mega Sic Bo in July 2020.

The game is based on an ancient Sic Bo with a modern twist. Pragmatic Play makes the gameplay more exciting by introducing several rewarding multipliers. Although this isn’t the first Sic Bo live game with multipliers, Pragmatic Play offers some options others don’t have to try to stay ahead of the curve. One of these options includes “Odd” and “Even” bets, not features in Playtech’s Sic Bo version.

However, keep in mind that the additional betting spot impacts the game’s RTP. In fact, Pragmatic Play’s Mega Sic Bo payouts are a bit lower than those in Sic Bo Deluxe by Playtech. But, Mega Sic Bo offers a popular Odd/Even bet that compensates for the lower RTP. The theoretical RTP in Mega Sic Bo is 97.22% based on Small/Big and Odd/Even bets.

The game is streamed live from a luxurious studio decorated with two columns and a gold and red backdrop. The table with an automated glass shaker is set in the centre with the live host sitting next to it wearing an appropriate red dress. Game Features & Gameplay

While the dice “dance” inside the shaker, several multipliers, known as “Mega Multipliers”, will be randomly applied to the betting board. The highest of them all can pay up to 1,000x your initial bet. However, it’s worth noting that the highest multiplier can boost only the Triple bets. The explanation for this is easy – the riskier the bet, the higher the multiplier, and vice versa.

Since the number of “Mega Multipliers” vary, one of the usual strategies when playing Mega Sic Bo would be to put coins on as many spots as possible. But only if such a decision doesn’t endanger your budget. If you can bet on more than one spot, the chances of qualifying for a tasty multiplier rise. The outcomes that receive multipliers are so-called “Mega Lucky Combinations”. If you’re lucky enough to place the chip on such a combo, you get “Megawin”.

Sic Bo is an easy-to-understand game that lets you bet on the possible outcomes as you wish. You can bet on the result of one, two, or three dice or a combination of the three dice.
