Play Aztec Palace at:
Deep within the jungles of South America, many mysteries lie forgotten. Sites of small settlements, which have long been taken back by nature. There’s no telling what sort of treasures may still be hiding in these places.
But today, we’ll have a chance to plunder one of them. The spot we found is no Aztec Palace, but it’s bound to have some goodies we can pawn off!
Aztec Palace Slot Review
The slot is played on a five reel board with twenty fixed paylines. The graphics are a very obvious jump in quality compared to Booming Games’ usual fare. The background actually has a few animations added into it. The constantly streaming water looks okay, but it’s not the main attraction. We’re far more impressed by the smooth movement of the snakes and the occasional butterfly that wanders onto the board.
Symbol designs are equally well thought out. Sure, we have playing card royals on the board, but they’ve been given a ridiculous level of detailed decorating! Meanwhile, the Aztec icons look positively creepy. They truly make you feel like you’re tampering with something you really shouldn’t. We’re just sad the Wild doesn’t follow their example, and is just a basic stone slab that has Wild written on it.
Of course, the graphics are relatively easy to improve. What about the special features? We’re happy to report that this game is full of fun bonuses! There’s a Bursting Wild that can transform up to eight symbols into Wilds. A free spins bonus during which only the most valuable icons can appear. And a pick-and-click special feature with skulls. And since they can all overlap, you have some intense winning potential! Aztec Palace Gameplay
How to Play Aztec Palace
You play this Booming Games release on a 5×3 board with 20 fixed paylines. Wins are granted when you have three or more matching symbols following one of the currently active paylines. The icons must be adjacent to each other, and must start with the leftmost reel. Aztec Palace has a jackpot worth 1000x your total stake.
Bonus Features
Keep a close eye on each special feature, since they all have a good chance of awarding the lost Aztec treasure! If you want to maximize your jackpot chances, you’ll want to score as many bonuses as possible!
Bursting Wild:
This Wild is separate from a standard Wild. It can appear in any position, and will turn itself and up to eight other icons into regular Wilds. This drastically increases your chances of winning big, especially if you trigger it while free spins are active.
Free Spins:
You activate this free spins bonus by find three, four or five Scatters, which rewards eight, ten or twelve free spins, respectively. During this bonus, only high value symbols, Bursting Wilds, regular Wilds and bonus icons can appear on the board.
Pick a Skull:
Once you collect three bonus symbols, you win the Pick a Skull special feature. You choose one of three skulls during regular gameplay, and receive a random cash prize. During free spins, you get to pick between four skulls, giving you a better chance at drawing a high value skull.
We love this slot. The fact all three special features benefit from the others being active makes it that much more fun. Sure, you’ve gotten a decent win. But what if you had all three bonuses active? It keeps you engaged and interested! Really, the only major flaw of this game is the absence of RTP information. It’s the only thing preventing us from recommending it.
We think Booming Games did a great job. They show the world that they deserve a place in a good online casino. The world of online gambling noticed that too and lot’s of casino sites offer Booming games Slots.
